Profile

“Above all, I craved to seize the whole essence, in the confines of one single photograph, of some situation that was in the process of unrolling itself before my eyes.” – Henri Cartier-Bresson

I’m an Australian Photographer, currently working between Melbourne & another of the world’s great music cities – Manchester in the UK.

Working in Newspapers and covering all types of pic assignments helped me find my niche. Capturing that perfect moment in-camera with Live Music is addictive – an adrenaline rush.

This work isn’t glamorous – it’s late nights, second hand smoke & being hit with bottles of what you hope is beer. Musicians move fast & the light is constantly changing, but these challenges make it so rewarding when all the right elements come together to give you THAT shot.

Working as a Freelance Music Photographer for the past four years, I’ve had images Published in Magazines such as Rolling Stone (USA), The Word (UK) & The Observer Music Monthly (UK), Newspapers including The Guardian (UK), The Sunday Times (UK), The Australian (Aust) & other publications in Russia, Japan, the Netherlands, France, India & Poland.

I was the Official Live Photographer for the memorial ‘Concert for Diana’ at Wembley Stadium in 2007 & have worked as part of the official team shooting UK Festivals such as Download (2006, 07 & 08), Hard Rock Calling (2008) & Cornbury (2006) for their organisers.
